                                           A Christmas Poem Adaptation

                 'Twas just days until Christmas, when all through our new home,
                          Matt and Nikki were stirring, to create you this poem.
                            Our stockings are hung by the chimney with care,
                        But the location of our warm socks, we're still unaware.
                                In a box we assume buried well in the mess,
                         That comes with moving into a new home, we guess.
                  Our great thanks to Laura, with your patience and dedication,
                         We found this -- our home; a cause for celebration.
                      She showed us many houses; some far away at times,
                        Her knowledge and kindness still alive in our minds.
                             Without her this family still would be roaming
                       The streets of Bay City, while freezing and groaning.
                               But with her expertise and professionalism,
                         We're cozy and warm composing this journalism.
                            So thanks again, Laura, for closing the deal,
                         On our happy new home with great curb appeal.
                           Above all we noticed, she enjoys a cup of java,
                  As Yoda would say "Hmmm -- Merry Christmas, you have a!"
